"We looked at three genres, they were Samoan sasa, ballet and hip hop. For the Samoan cultural dance we had to be sharp with our actions in time with the beat. We had to be graceful, gentle and light for ballet. For hip hop we had to be relaxed and have swag. When it came to free style we had fun and we were free!! We thought the workshop was interesting because Mae Ling taught differently. Also Mae Ling was very energetic making us feel excited and energetic!"
