"On Friday 9 August we went to the library to learn about sound with Charlie. Charlie said "If there was no sound in the world it would be boring!" We watched a video about a song called What a Wonderful World that was performed using 16 different genres. He then gave us sheets of paper to write about a genre we picked. He told us to write things about it, like how the music makes us feel and different artists that work on that genre. Next Charlie told us there are four sources of sound in music. They are voice, digital, nature and acoustic. We played a game. Charlie put different sounds on garage band and we had to guess which sound it would be. The workshop was exhilarating and we knew it would be fun with Charlie!
