Sally Smith from Watercare-story extracts

"Sally Smith from Watercare came to our class, however she taught us so many interesting things.  The thing that most interests me is that there are superbugs that eat the bacteria so the bacteria doesn't go in to the sea and kills marine life.  Another thing that most interests me is that in 1960's all our sewage went in the sewage pipes and into the sea straight away."

"When stuff comes in the plant the super bugs (otherwise known as euplotes) eat it and all that is left is the bacteria.  Then the bacteria goes in a room.  The bacteria's skin will disappear because of the sun. Soon all the clean water can go in the sea.  Next Sally showed us pictures of different types of oil in water.  They all had different reactions."
